An inquiry has been initiated following the death of a 20-year-old bar employee in the early morning hours. The young woman, working at the Gorilla establishment in Manchester, was found unconscious at a residence near The Deaf Institute, a related venue, on October 16.
Upon receiving concerns for her well-being, the Greater Manchester Police promptly responded to the apartment on Grosvenor Street. Subsequently, three individuals were arrested in connection with suspected drug distribution and later released on bail.
The police department stated, “Following reports of a welfare concern, officers attended an incident on Grosvenor Street, Manchester, where the lifeless body of a 20-year-old female was discovered. Three arrests were made regarding drug supply allegations, and those individuals have been granted bail. Investigations are ongoing.”
A spokesperson from the Deaf Institute conveyed, “Regrettably, a team member from our Gorilla venue passed away in an apartment on Grosvenor Street during the early hours of Thursday morning. Details of the incident are not fully known, and it would be improper to comment further, especially with an active police inquiry in progress.”
Furthermore, they mentioned, “We have contacted the Greater Manchester Police and offered our assistance in uncovering the circumstances surrounding this event. Our sympathies and thoughts are with the family and friends of our deceased colleague during this sorrowful period.”
