“Palace Urges Probe into New Prince Andrew Allegations”

Published:

Buckingham Palace has expressed deep concern over fresh allegations against Prince Andrew, calling for a thorough investigation into the matter. The Metropolitan Police has confirmed that they are actively looking into claims that Prince Andrew provided his accuser, Virginia Giuffre, with sensitive personal information in an attempt to tarnish her reputation.

These developments coincide with the release of Ms. Giuffre’s posthumous memoir, where she detailed attempts by Prince Andrew’s team to hire online harassers. Despite these allegations, Prince Andrew has consistently denied any sexual involvement with Ms. Giuffre.

Amid heightened scrutiny of his connections with Epstein and the accusations made by Ms. Giuffre, Prince Andrew voluntarily relinquished his Duke of York title. A palace source emphasized the gravity of the new allegations and stressed the importance of a thorough examination.

Calls are mounting for the Royal Family to support efforts to formally strip Prince Andrew of his titles through parliamentary action. While the Prime Minister’s spokesperson deferred the issue to the palace, Labour MP Rachael Maskell and SNP’s Stephen Flynn have urged Parliament to take decisive steps.

Following discussions with the Royal Family, Prince Andrew announced his decision to step down from his title of Duke of York. In a statement, he cited the distractions caused by ongoing accusations as the reason for his withdrawal from public duties, expressing a commitment to prioritize his family and country.
