“Bizarre Deception: Woman Fakes Pregnancy with Reborn Doll”

Published:

A peculiar video has surfaced featuring Kira Cousins celebrating a gender reveal event for a purported non-existent baby, complete with confetti, embraces, and orchestrated excitement.

The video, shared by a friend of Kira’s, begins with the moment the confetti cannon explodes, showering pink fragments onto the ground. Kira, with a radiant smile, embraces her partner, seemingly elated by the revelation. It was later disclosed that this occurrence was one of several alleged deceptions by the 22-year-old to persuade her partner, family, and acquaintances that she was pregnant.

According to friends, Kira, hailing from Airdrie, Scotland, purportedly went to great lengths, including donning a fake bump and employing a lifelike reborn doll, to mislead others into believing she had given birth to a baby girl named Bonnie-Leigh.

In a TikTok compilation viewed over three million times, Kira’s friend Naeve McRobert accuses her of orchestrating the gender reveal. McRobert presents a series of images and clips, alleging that Kira wore a false pregnancy bump to a wedding, shared photos of miniature clothes, exhibited a £1,000 stroller gifted by her family in anticipation of the baby, and informed loved ones that her unborn child had heart complications.

The narrative takes a more bizarre turn with a video reportedly filmed by Kira, showing the “fetus” supposedly kicking inside her stomach.

Kira allegedly proclaimed the birth of her daughter in a social media post in October. However, she was subsequently accused of deceit when her mother purportedly discovered the “baby” unattended in her room and realized it exhibited no signs of life typical of an infant. It was revealed to be a reborn doll, handcrafted art dolls designed to resemble human infants closely.

As per social media reports, Kira’s boyfriend was led to believe he was becoming a father, but Kira prevented him from attending supposed prenatal appointments. She allegedly informed acquaintances that her boyfriend and his family disapproved of her pregnancy, believing their relationship was not sufficiently established to raise a child.

Several months following the “birth” of Bonnie-Leigh, Kira purportedly informed the man she claimed to be Bonnie-Leigh’s father that their child had passed away. In a message allegedly sent to him, Kira expresses the need for his presence to discuss the situation. Another message states, “Bonnie Leigh passed away, but I need time to explain everything to you, and I will, I promise.”

McRobert noted that Kira had deleted all images and videos of Bonnie-Leigh from their conversations. “I inquired about this, and she disregarded me,” the friend stated. “I then asked the baby’s father if it was a doll, and he confirmed it was. She even went to the extent of messaging him that ‘Bonnie-Leigh had passed away’.

“I can only imagine how he must be feeling right now, along with everyone else deceived for months and months. Everyone believed her,” McRobert added.
