Cove UK, the umbrella company overseeing multiple holiday parks in the UK, has entered administration. The development impacts a total of 11 sites, including eight managed by Argyll Holidays, which Cove UK acquired for £100 million in 2022.
Among the affected holiday parks are Solway Holiday Park, Gwel an Mor Resort, and Springwood Holiday Park. Administrators are actively exploring potential sale options for the business and have communicated the situation to site owners.
For individuals with upcoming bookings at these resorts, administrators advise reaching out to the site manager for further guidance. The list of resorts impacted includes:
– Argyll Holidays
– Solway Holiday Park
– Gwel an Mor Resort
– Springwood Holiday Park
Seal Bay Resort in West Sussex remains unaffected and continues to operate normally. Alvarez & Marsal Europe has been appointed to oversee the administration process for Cove Communities Holiday Park UK Holdco Limited (HPUK) and its subsidiaries, such as Cove Communities Venture 2 Gwel an Mor OpCo Ltd and Cove Communities Venture 2 Solway OpCo Ltd.
In a statement, Alvarez & Marsal Europe emphasized their commitment to ensuring a seamless transition and maintaining stability across the parks.
