A mother has disclosed how a distressing online interaction with infamous child abuser Ian Watkins left her deeply disturbed when he requested to exploit her infant as a “sex slave.”
The woman, identified as Hannah, has courageously chosen to share her ordeal following the recent death of the ex-Lostprophets frontman in prison. Watkins was incarcerated for various sexual offenses, including attempted rape and sexual assault of minors under 13, with one victim as young as 10 months old.
Two suspects, aged 25 and 43, have been apprehended on suspicion of Watkins’s murder and are currently in police custody, according to West Yorkshire Police. Recalling her infatuation with Watkins, Hannah revealed how he shifted his focus to her child after she tried to capture his attention on social media during her teenage years.
When she was 17, Watkins allegedly solicited her to undress on a webcam but soon directed his interest towards her baby daughter. Expressing her revulsion at his repugnant demand, she conveyed to The Sun: “I didn’t realize how deeply it has impacted me – it’s truly appalling. It’s sickening really – it makes me physically ill.”
Despite her refusal to comply with his requests for a face-to-face meeting, Watkins persisted. Hannah asserted that Watkins inquired whether she and her daughter would engage with him in person, which she declined. Stuff like that, you don’t see it coming.” In 2023, Watkins was brutally assaulted by three fellow inmates, sustaining life-threatening injuries.
