The global music festival, initially intended to coincide with Parton’s 80th birthday in January with her as the headliner alongside various other artists, was postponed last September due to health concerns.
However, Parton’s estate has revealed that the “star-studded” music festival will proceed as planned in Nashville and London over two consecutive weekends next year.
The renowned “Queen of Country” passed away last week at the age of 80, leaving behind a multitude of mourning fans. She was famous for composing hits like Jolene, I Will Always Love You, and 9 to 5, as well as for adding a touch of sparkle to the world through her humor, rhinestones, and extensive philanthropic work.
The estate assured that Dollyfest “will be the grand celebration she envisioned sharing with the world.”
Aside from the commitment to a festivity reflecting Parton’s infectious charisma, little is known about the event. The exact dates are yet to be disclosed, and the lineup of musical acts remains a mystery.
