A man has been taken into custody by the police in connection with the fatal stabbing of a woman. Agne Druskienea was tragically killed during a stabbing incident in Hornchurch, East London. Emergency services responded to the scene on Saturday evening where Agne was later pronounced dead. The accused, Augustinas Druskis, 43, from Hornchurch, has been charged with murder and is scheduled to appear in Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
The victim was discovered at a residence on Cranham Road around 1:40pm. While formal identification is pending, Agne has been identified, and her family has been notified. According to a statement from the Metropolitan Police Service, paramedics alerted authorities to the stabbing at the property on Cranham Road. Despite efforts to save her, Agne was declared deceased at the location. Her relatives are receiving support from specialized officers.
