“Mother of Baby P explores BDSM after prison release”

Published:

Tracey Connelly, the mother of Baby P, has disclosed her curiosity in BDSM fetishes and revealed that she visited a sex club following her release from prison. The 44-year-old, who was imprisoned for her involvement in her son’s tragic demise in 2007, acknowledged engaging in provocative conversations after her release in 2022.

During a hearing with a Parole Board panel, Connelly recounted details of her son Peter’s death over 18 years ago, emphasizing her relationships and sexual preferences as they deliberated on her potential release or transfer to an open prison. It was disclosed that she was returned to custody in August the previous year due to a clandestine year-long online relationship involving explicit messages.

Connelly confessed to concealing her troubled past from her partner before engaging in various activities together, leading to her reincarceration for failing to report the relationship to probation authorities. Although admitting to discussing BDSM themes via messages, she clarified that no such acts were carried out, stating it was for mutual excitement.

Despite being monitored with an electronic tag, Connelly confirmed visiting a sex club out of curiosity, mentioning that it was a subdued environment with no active engagements. Regarding her interest in BDSM, she explained it as a form of trust and intimacy, emphasizing the importance of relinquishing control in a relationship.

Notably, Connelly, who was sentenced to at least five years in 2009 for her role in Peter’s death, was previously released in 2013 but was later recalled for selling explicit images online. Despite facing criticism, she was released in 2022 under strict conditions. However, her return to prison last year stemmed from initiating an undisclosed online relationship without notifying her supervising officials.

In addition, reports surfaced of a close bond she formed with another incarcerated woman, involving physical affection, which resulted in her relocation within the prison. Connelly admitted to continuing this relationship through written correspondence exchanged between cells.

Discussing her views on relationships, Connelly expressed a preference for non-monogamous arrangements during the hearing. The proceedings are ongoing.
