Mother of Three Dies After Brazilian Butt Lift

Published:

A mother of three, described as “loving,” has passed away following a Brazilian butt lift surgery. Alicia Stone, 40, a devoted mother, was taken to Fundación Valle del Lili Hospital in Colombia after being found unresponsive in her hotel room at around 6:30 am local time on Thursday. She was pronounced dead by the New York Police Department detective one hour later.

Sources revealed that Stone’s cause of death was determined to be “unspecified cardiac arrest.” The surgical procedures she underwent, including a liposuction and gluteal fat transfer, took place on October 16, just a week before her tragic death.

After the surgery, Stone was on pain medication and anticoagulants and was recovering in a hotel. Her husband, Michael Stone, expressed his intention to request an autopsy and investigate the circumstances surrounding Alicia’s passing.

Michael Stone shared with the Daily News that he received a call from the doctor in Colombia informing him of his wife’s sudden death. He emphasized the lack of information provided and expressed his shock and need for clarity on the events leading to Alicia’s demise.

He mentioned that Alicia seemed “perfectly fine” before the surgery and had reassured her relatives of her well-being the day before she passed away. A fundraiser for Stone’s family highlighted her as a caring mother of three and a dedicated public servant, lauding her for her service in protecting and aiding others.

The Cleveland Clinic in the United States disclosed that numerous individuals undergo Brazilian butt lift surgeries each year, involving the removal of excess fat and the injection of purified fat around the buttocks. The clinic also outlined potential risks associated with the procedure.
