“Prodigy Beau Greaves Eyes Premier League Darts Spot”

Published:

Darts prodigy Beau Greaves expressed her willingness to join the prestigious Premier League if given the opportunity. The 21-year-old gained recognition after defeating Luke Littler en route to the World Youth Final, sparking discussions about her potential ascent.

Renowned five-time world champion Raymond van Barneveld suggested that an impressive performance at the upcoming PDC World Championship could secure Greaves a spot among the elite eight Premier League players. The previous series was won by Luke Humphries in 2025, where he bested Luke Littler in the final, alongside Stephen Bunting, Gerwyn Price, Rob Cross, Nathan Aspinall, Michael van Gerwen, and Chris Dobey.

Despite her doubts about an immediate Premier League inclusion, Greaves expressed excitement at the prospect. Grateful for the praise she has received, she acknowledged the positive impact of such recognition. Reflecting on Van Barneveld’s remarks, Greaves humbly stated her admiration for the accomplished players she grew up watching.

Greaves credited her recent victory over Littler for boosting her confidence, a sentiment she had previously struggled with. She looks forward to facing Michael van Gerwen in their televised Grand Slam of Darts match in Wolverhampton, aiming to challenge stereotypes about women’s ability in the sport.

With a newfound belief in her abilities since obtaining her Tour Card, Greaves emphasized the importance of timing and enjoyment in her approach to competition. While acknowledging the existing challenges and perceptions in the sport, she remains focused on proving herself and relishing the opportunity to compete at the highest level.
