Samsung has officially announced that the upcoming Galaxy S smartphones will be revealed later this month during the Galaxy Unpacked event in San Francisco on February 25. The event will showcase the new Samsung Galaxy S26 series, which includes the standard S26, the S26 Plus, and the S26 Ultra. Viewers can watch the event live on the Samsung website starting at 6pm GMT.
To entice fans, Samsung is offering exclusive freebies to those who register early. By signing up, participants can receive a £30 voucher for Galaxy ecosystem products, double storage when pre-ordering a new phone, and a chance to win one of 10 £500 Samsung vouchers.
Samsung emphasized that the new smartphones are designed to simplify daily tasks with integrated Artificial Intelligence (AI) features, marking a new era of AI technology. The company aims to enhance user experience by seamlessly integrating Galaxy AI into everyday interactions.
As anticipation builds for the new release, retailers are slashing prices on the current Galaxy S25 range to make room for the new models. Sky Mobile, for instance, has reduced the monthly cost of the S25 Ultra from £43 to £31, saving customers £432, although there is an upfront cost and a 36-month contract requirement. Meanwhile, Amazon is offering a 20% discount on select S25 and S25 Ultra models, with prices dropping to £639.20 and £999.20, respectively, until February 24 or while supplies last.
