Samsung has revealed a trio of new Galaxy S26 smartphones, with the standout feature being the Privacy Display on the S26 Ultra. This innovative technology ensures that content on the screen is only visible when directly viewed, preventing others from seeing it without authorization.

The Privacy Display can be customized to block specific apps or notifications, providing enhanced privacy for users. Samsung described this feature as a groundbreaking advancement in display technology that prioritizes user privacy while maintaining clarity and brightness.

In addition to the Privacy Display, the Galaxy S26 Ultra boasts a sleek design, improved battery life, and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform. The device also features rapid charging capabilities, reaching 75% battery in just 30 minutes.

The Ultra model includes an updated quad rear camera for better low-light photography and enhanced video stabilization with Super Steady mode. It also comes with an S Pen for convenient note-taking on the 6.9-inch AMOLED screen.

Accompanying the Ultra variant are the standard S26 with a 6.3-inch screen and the larger 6.7-inch Plus version, both equipped with triple-lens cameras. All new Samsung smartphones benefit from a Galaxy AI upgrade, offering features like Now Nudge to provide relevant suggestions and streamline user interactions.

Despite the impressive upgrades, the new Galaxy S26 lineup comes with higher price points compared to previous models. The UK pricing for the range is as follows:

– S26: 256GB £879, 512GB £1,049
– S26 Plus: 256GB £1,099, 512GB £1,269
– S26 Ultra: 256GB £1,279, 512GB £1,449, 1TB (with 16GB RAM) £1,699

These smartphones are set to hit stores next month, offering consumers a blend of cutting-edge technology and enhanced user experiences.
