Sky has made a surprising announcement by bringing back its beloved channel, Sky One, which was closed down in 2021. The relaunch is set to feature an array of comedy and entertainment programs, including new shows like The Dyers’ Caravan Park and Gemma Collins: Four Weddings and a Baby.

In addition to the new content, favorites such as Rob & Romesh Vs.., The Paper, and Ted will also be part of the lineup on channel 106. The revived Sky One will also introduce Saturday Night Live UK later this year, replacing Sky Showcase and Sky Max to consolidate entertainment offerings in one convenient location.

Carli Kerr, Managing Director of Sky TV & NOW, expressed the company’s commitment to providing a seamless viewing experience for customers. The channel aims to be a dynamic destination showcasing new Sky Originals like The Dyers’ Caravan Park, along with returning favorites such as Rob & Romesh Vs., becoming the home for the anticipated Saturday Night Live UK.

Sky One is scheduled to launch on channel 106 on Tuesday, February 24, offering viewers easy access to the latest entertainment options. This development coincides with Sky’s upcoming major event, which is generating anticipation and speculation among subscribers.

As Sky teases “Big things are coming to Sky TV,” Mirror Online will be present at the event in London’s West End to provide live updates as the announcements unfold. The event, expected to commence on February 11 at 10 am, has sparked curiosity about what surprises Sky has in store for its audience.
