Top jockey Clifford Lee, known for his successful Flat season, was hospitalized following a neck injury sustained in a motorbike accident. Lee, aged 29 and the stable jockey for Karl Burke, has had a remarkable season with 94 wins, including his first Group 1 victory aboard Venetian Sun in the Prix Morny. Despite his suspension, Lee was on track to achieve 100 wins for the first time before the incident occurred during his holiday.

Lee, who lacked a racing background before joining Burke in Yorkshire, has risen to prominence as one of Britain’s top jockeys. His strategic prowess was evident in consecutive wins at the Cambridgeshire with Boiling Point and Liberty Lane.

Fans have flooded Lee with messages of support as he receives treatment in a hospital in Edinburgh. Well-wishers expressed hopes for his speedy recovery and anticipated a bright future for the talented jockey.
