The Toronto Sixers triumphed in the Canada Super60 Cricket League championship with both the men’s and women’s teams securing victories against their Vancouver opponents at B.C. Place. The men’s team clinched the title by defeating the Anchors by five wickets, led by Nicholas Pooran’s impressive 67 runs off 23 balls. Despite Obus Pienaar’s strong 82 runs on 21 balls for Vancouver, they fell short with a total of 164 runs.

On the other hand, the women’s Sixers successfully defended their title by defeating the Vancouver Warriors by six wickets, with Ella McCaughan’s unbeaten 36 off 20 balls playing a pivotal role in the comeback victory. The women’s league, which involves a T10 format of cricket, witnessed intense matches with each team facing up to 60 balls in 10 overs.
