Virgin Media customers in the UK are set to benefit from a new service upgrade called Smart Support, provided at no extra cost. This initiative, launched by the internet service provider, offers around-the-clock assistance to ensure smooth operations throughout the year.

Smart Support automatically monitors broadband coverage, promptly addressing speed or connectivity issues for users. It provides instant recommendations to resolve problems, aiming to prevent disruptions that could interrupt online activities like streaming or remote work.

Moreover, Virgin Media can remotely perform fixes during off-peak hours to avoid inconveniencing customers during the day. In cases where additional support is required, such as WiFi Pod or Hub upgrades for improved home coverage, the service will proactively engage with customers. For more complex issues, customers can schedule an engineer visit without any extra charges.

Gareth Lister, Director of Connectivity at Virgin Media O2, emphasized the importance of reliable connectivity and the company’s commitment to keeping customers connected. The Smart Support service is part of their efforts to meet the increasing demand for fast and dependable internet services.
