“WhatsApp Plus: New Subscription Model with Enhanced Features”

Published:

A large number of apps and services typically require a monthly fee for their usage. Recent observations suggest that WhatsApp, owned by Meta, might soon introduce a similar subscription model with an enhanced version called WhatsApp Plus. This upgraded version is anticipated to provide exclusive updates and features, including the ability to pin up to 20 chats (increased from the current limit of 3), enhanced customization options such as changing app themes, icons, and accent colors.

Moreover, WhatsApp Plus may offer bonus stickers, extra ringtones, and more interactive chat responses. According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is developing a premium subscription plan named “WhatsApp Plus” for Android and iOS users, offering additional features in exchange for a monthly fee. While WhatsApp has not officially confirmed these reports, test versions of the Plus app have been identified, indicating ongoing development.

It is speculated that Meta may introduce further enhancements and features for paying subscribers in the future. Importantly, the standard free version of WhatsApp will remain available, and users will not be compelled to switch to the paid subscription. The optional premium plan aims to provide added value for users willing to pay a monthly fee.

More details about WhatsApp Plus are expected to be disclosed soon. Stay tuned for updates.
