Luke Littler jokingly mentioned that he might entertain the idea of participating in the I’m a Celebrity jungle if a staggering £50 million offer was on the table, despite being deterred by this year’s show. The 18-year-old darts prodigy has been closely following the current season to support his friend, Angry Ginge, whose appearance on the popular ITV program sparked rumors of Littler’s potential involvement.
When asked about the possibility of joining the show, Littler stated that he would contemplate it if the financial incentives were sufficient. However, he has now elaborated on the specific amount that would sway his decision, expressing a diminished enthusiasm for the jungle experience after witnessing the challenges on the show.
During an interview on talkSPORT, Littler admitted that after witnessing the daunting trials on the show, he no longer felt inclined to participate, despite his earlier remarks about the monetary aspect. When questioned if he would reconsider for £10 million, he declined, but when the interviewer proposed a substantial £50 million offer, Littler hesitantly responded with a “maybe.”
Citing his aversion to the jungle environment, particularly the presence of snakes, Littler humorously mused about the unlikely scenario of him partaking in the show. While Angry Ginge prepares for his upcoming bushtucker trial, Littler is gearing up to defend his title at the PDC World Darts Championship, where he aims to replicate Gary Anderson’s achievement of retaining the Sid Waddell trophy.
As the reigning world champion and the newly crowned world No 1 in darts, Littler looks forward to commencing his title defense with a first-round match against Darius Labanauskas on December 11 at Ally Pally.
