Sarah Ferguson’s Close Friend Reveals Nervous Breakdown

Published:

Sarah Ferguson’s close friend has disclosed that she is teetering on the brink of a ‘nervous breakdown’ due to the distress of her daughters being implicated in the scandal surrounding her ties to Jeffrey Epstein. Despite her divorce from Prince Andrew, Sarah had staunchly defended him during his downfall, even residing together. However, it’s Sarah’s connection with Epstein that has led to a rapid deterioration in her public image. An email she sent to Epstein, despite claiming to have severed ties, recently surfaced, referring to him as a “supreme friend,” with her team citing fear of threats to her family as the reason for the communication. Consequently, numerous charities she supported have distanced themselves from her, deeming it inappropriate for her to remain associated with them.

Last week, Prince Andrew declared relinquishing his royal titles permanently following a conversation with his “weary and furious” elder brother, King Charles, who denied all accusations against him. A royal expert, in contact with one of Sarah’s acquaintances, has suggested that Sarah is on the verge of a breakdown amidst the ongoing turmoil. Phil Dampier revealed that Sarah’s older sister, Jane, flew from Australia to provide comfort in the UK during this challenging time.

Further revelations this week include claims that Sarah and her daughters celebrated Epstein’s release from prison in 2009. Reports indicate that Epstein instructed his legal team to have Sarah deny disowning him in an interview. While a source close to Sarah stated that she and her daughters have no recollection of this visit.

Defending Sarah on the Jeremy Vine show, her friend Lizzie Cundy described Sarah as being in a state of devastation following the email scandal that led to her losing charitable patronages. Cundy emphasized Sarah’s emotional turmoil, particularly over losing support for cancer charities, given her recent cancer diagnosis.
