The Honey Badgers, who previously won a CEBL title in 2022, are on the brink of clinching another championship, while the Sea Bears have impressed with their playoff performance, defeating strong opponents like the Saskatoon Mamba and the Vancouver Bandits. The final showdown will not only feature an exciting on-court battle but also a unique off-court narrative, as the two competing teams are owned by siblings, David Asper and Leonard Asper.
