Carey Price is set to receive recognition at the Bell Centre for his remarkable NHL career with the Montreal Canadiens. The team announced that Price will make a return to the Bell Centre on November 10 to commemorate his Hall of Fame induction, scheduled for the day prior.
As the 62nd member of the organization to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, Price will also be honored by joining the Bell Centre’s Ring of Honour, a prestigious recognition reserved for former players who have achieved greatness in the sport of hockey.
Having played his entire 15-year career in Montreal, Price has established himself as a legendary goaltender. With 712 career games under his belt, he boasts a 2.51 goals-against average and a .917 save percentage. Price holds the franchise records for most games played and victories as a goaltender.
The celebration of Price’s accomplishments will take place during a game against the Minnesota Wild. Additionally, Price, a seven-time all-star and the fifth overall pick in the 2005 NHL Entry draft, will be recognized for his outstanding contributions to the Canadiens.
The Montreal Canadiens will commence their pre-season on September 19, followed by their regular season opener on September 29 against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
