This win marked the second-largest margin of victory for Phoenix this season, following their 99-66 win against the Las Vegas Aces in the season opener.
Sami Whitcomb added 14 points to the scoreboard, while Marta Suarez and Maddy Westbeld, coming off the bench, contributed 13 and 12 points respectively. Lexi Held also chipped in with 11 points for the Mercury (14-26), bringing an end to their four-game losing streak.

A strong 30-point performance in the third quarter extended their lead to 88-49 at the end of the third period.
