Tilly Ramsay emerged victorious over her parents, Tana and Gordon, in an Ironman competition held in Greece. Participating in the AEH IRONMAN 70.3 Costa Navarino event, Tilly completed the race in 6 hours, 0 minutes, and 40 seconds, securing the fourth position in her age group and surpassing her father’s time by 43 minutes.
Despite only entering her first triathlon a mere 10 weeks ago, rising star chef Tilly showcased an impressive performance. Gordon finished with a time of 6 hours and 44 minutes, while Tana, outpacing Gordon during the run, completed the race in 6 hours and 10 minutes.
Stepping away from their kitchen duties, Gordon was joined by fellow chef Paul Ainsworth in the race. Ainsworth, known for his appearances on various British TV shows and owning acclaimed restaurants like Paul Ainsworth at Number 6 in Cornwall, achieved a personal best time of 5 hours and 29 minutes.
Paul Ainsworth, who has recently ventured into Ironman triathlon competitions, notably participated in IRONMAN 70.3 Zell am See-Kaprun in 2024 and 2025. These triathlons involve a 1.2-mile swim, a 56-mile bike ride, and a 13.1 mile run to conclude the event.
The Ramsay family, comprising Tilly, Gordon, Tana, and Paul, traveled together to compete in the race, taking a break from their busy filming schedules. With a significant social media following, Tilly is making her mark in the culinary world and entertainment industry, hosting shows like “Dish It Out” on Amazon Prime.
Gordon, a seasoned competitor in Ironman races, aimed to enhance his performance in the event. Encouraged by a solid swim and bike ride, Gordon improved his overall time compared to his previous race in Luxembourg. Tana, his wife, also an experienced triathlete, demonstrated her prowess in running, achieving the fastest run time among the family members.
Expressing their joy and pride in the family’s achievements, Gordon, Tilly, Tana, and Paul shared their experiences from the race. The entire family, including Gordon’s son Oscar and Paul’s daughter Ci Ci, actively participated in various race-related activities during the event week.
Gordon Ramsay featured in the documentary series “Beyond Finish Lines,” alongside renowned triathlete Jan Frodeno, showcasing his journey in the Ironman competitions. The episode titled “Finding Your Best Self” captured Gordon’s race at IRONMAN 70.3 Luxembourg Remich-Région Moselle.
