“Putin’s Drone Strikes on Ukrainian Nursery Cause Chaos”

Published:

Chilling video footage has captured the aftermath of devastating drone strikes by Vladimir Putin on a Ukrainian nursery. Terrified children were witnessed screaming and crying as they were evacuated from the chaos caused by a series of strikes at a preschool in Kharkiv, resulting in one fatality and seven injuries.

The distressing scenes showed fire officials swiftly evacuating 48 children from the location after the strikes on Wednesday morning. Amid the Russian onslaught, an adult male was found deceased, with seven others sustaining injuries. The nursery’s roof collapsed, whiteboards were ripped from walls, shattered glass covered the floor, and children’s desks lay among charred debris, with thick smoke billowing outside.

President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the attack as a direct assault on peace-seekers, attributing the violence to “bandits and terrorists” under Putin’s command. Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov confirmed a private kindergarten in the Kholodnoyarkiy district suffered a direct hit, igniting a fire.

Zelensky took to social media to announce the safe relocation of all children to shelters, although they are exhibiting signs of acute stress. He emphasized the unjustifiability of drone strikes on a kindergarten, denouncing Russia’s escalating aggression as a hindrance to peaceful resolutions.

The incident occurred shortly before Trump authorized Ukraine to utilize specific long-range missiles provided by Western allies following a failed meeting with Putin. This decision empowers Kyiv to target deep within Russia, intensifying pressure on the Kremlin, according to US officials.

Ukrainian forces confirmed firing British-made Storm Shadow cruise missiles at a chemical plant in Russia’s Bryansk region, describing it as a successful strike. The plant reportedly produces components used in ammunition and missiles employed by the enemy to attack Ukraine.

The missile launch coincided with European leaders, including PM Keir Starmer, pledging to increase economic and defense industry pressure on Russia until Putin is willing to engage in peace negotiations.
