“Flight Delayed: Woman’s Argument on Plane Over Seating Dispute”

Published:

A woman caused a significant delay to a flight by engaging in a heated argument in the departure lounge and insisting on sitting next to her partner.

The flight departure was delayed by 1 hour and 40 minutes after the woman was heard shouting at her partner while waiting to board the plane on November 2. Allegedly, the couple’s dispute revolved around accusations of infidelity and inappropriate behavior during intimate moments, as well as the woman claiming her partner had sexually assaulted her multiple times, backed by medical records.

Upon boarding the Airbus A320 flight UO559 from Da Nang, Vietnam, to Hong Kong, the couple found themselves seated apart. The woman demanded to be relocated next to her boyfriend, but flight attendants informed her that seat assignments were fixed, leading to further agitation from her. Video footage captured her arguing with the crew, causing a scene among other passengers.

Reports suggest that the woman physically pushed a flight attendant and had to be restrained by other crew members. Despite warnings to calm down, she allegedly pushed the attendant a second time, prompting the couple’s removal from the aircraft, allowing the flight to finally take off.

The flight, operated by HK Express, eventually landed at Hong Kong International Airport approximately 71 minutes behind schedule, touching down around 10:36 pm. HK Express, known for its affordable ticket prices and regional flight routes across Asia, caters to budget-conscious travelers seeking short-haul flights.
