Some Sky customers are facing an annoying glitch with the ITVX app. The issue began recently, causing viewers’ shows to skip to the end unexpectedly. Users have reported instances where they are abruptly taken to the credits without using the fast-forward feature on their remotes.
On Sky’s forum page, a user named Dazzasky complained about ITV Player skipping ahead to the end of episodes, making viewing difficult for the past few days. Another user, Dawn, also mentioned experiencing similar problems with ITVX programs randomly jumping to the end after watching for a short time.
The technical difficulties seem to be impacting users with online Sky devices like Sky Stream boxes and Glass TVs. While it is uncertain if Sky Q users are affected, most complaints are from those using broadband-connected devices rather than satellite dishes.
Sky employee Kev acknowledged the issues and assured users that the company is collaborating with ITV to resolve the problem. Kev expressed understanding for the frustration caused by the glitch and promised updates once more information is available.
