A 13-year-old boy was stabbed at Manchester Piccadilly station, according to the police. The incident occurred near the short stay car park, leading to the teenager being taken to the hospital on Monday afternoon. Fortunately, his injuries are not considered life-threatening or life-altering, as confirmed by the British Transport Police.

Subsequently, a 13-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of GBH (wounding with intent). Additionally, three other boys, aged 13, and two aged 12, were also apprehended on suspicion of affray. All individuals have been released on bail while the investigation into the stabbing is ongoing.

Detective Inspector Stephen Kite described the event as a shocking occurrence that unfolded in broad daylight in front of numerous shocked bystanders. Authorities have interviewed several witnesses and pursued various leads, yet they believe there may be more individuals who witnessed the incident but have not yet come forward.

It is believed that there were also motorists passing by who might have captured crucial footage on their dash cams. Detective Inspector Kite urged these potential witnesses to contact the authorities promptly. He emphasized a zero-tolerance policy towards violence on the railway network and vowed to ensure that those responsible are brought to justice.
