Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie have reportedly taken discreet trips out of the UK amidst heightened scrutiny on their parents. Social media posts indicate that the daughters of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson embarked on separate journeys recently, moving away from the UK.
The move comes as Prince Andrew faces mounting pressure to vacate his 30-room Windsor mansion due to ongoing controversies surrounding his association with Jeffrey Epstein and the minimal rent he has paid for over two decades. While Andrew announced his decision to relinquish his Duke of York title, Buckingham Palace clarified that there would be no changes regarding the titles of his daughters, Beatrice and Eugenie.
Amidst the public backlash over Andrew and Fergie’s living situation, it appears that Beatrice traveled to Saudi Arabia, where she was photographed at the Future Investment Initiative in Riyadh. On the other hand, Eugenie was spotted in an Instagram post by interior designer Sterling McDavid, showcasing a girls’ trip to Paris with the Eiffel Tower in the background.
Reports suggest that both princesses have not returned to the UK yet. Meanwhile, discussions are underway for Andrew to leave Royal Lodge, where he has resided for more than two decades. There are proposals for him and Sarah Ferguson to move to separate residences, with Andrew expressing interest in residing at Frogmore Cottage, previously occupied by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The pressure is mounting for Andrew to testify before a Commons select committee regarding his rent-free living arrangement at the Crown Estate property. The King faced public scrutiny during a visit to the West Midlands where he was questioned about his knowledge of Andrew’s connections to Epstein.
Calls for transparency and accountability continue to grow as the royal family navigates through the ongoing controversies.
