Having grown up watching the event, Jamieson recalled his father’s triumph in 2006, which he considered his favorite until now. Reflecting on his own victory, Jamieson described it as his most cherished racing moment. The race saw Fifth and Five clocking a winning time of 1:49.4, with Jamieson praising the horse’s suitability for the track and impeccable performance.
During the race, Jamieson strategically followed the horse in the first post position, eventually securing the win. Following the race, Jamieson and his team celebrated in the winners’ circle, with Jamieson expressing overwhelming joy and describing the victory as a lifelong dream realized.
