“Experts Warn Western Nations: Support Iran Rebel Uprising”

Published:

Britain and Western nations have been advised by experts to distance themselves from Iran to allow for a potential democratic uprising against the long-standing Mullah regime. Senior Iranian dissidents are optimistic about a growing rebel movement consisting of 20,000 covert cells that could lead to the overthrow of the current regime, including the Revolutionary Guard Corps. The dissidents estimate that a revolution might unfold within the next few months.

These covert cells, each with around 10 members, are increasing in number weekly and are actively protesting in defiance of the regime. It is believed that there could be up to 100,000 or more members within these rebel units, some of whom may even be arming themselves.

The dissidents, particularly those associated with the People’s Mujahideen Organization of Iran (MEK), are risking their lives to protest against the oppressive regime. Dr. Majid Sadeghpour, an Iranian exile and political director of the Organization of Iranian American Communities in Washington, highlights the regime’s intensified repression tactics in response to its impending collapse.

Despite global concerns over Iran’s support for terrorism, nuclear activities, and involvement in conflicts, the current approach is to persuade Iran to change its behavior. Dr. Sadeghpour emphasizes the need for a shift in policy to support the Iranian people’s desire to overthrow the regime.

Dr. Sadeghpour asserts that negotiations with the regime are futile due to its violent and unyielding nature. He emphasizes that the regime’s brutal culture and policies are deeply ingrained, making it incapable of change. He warns against underestimating the potential for an armed uprising within Iran.

While there are differing opinions on the popularity and grassroots support of the rebel groups, Dr. Sadeghpour believes that the secretive units must have significant backing to continue their activities. On the other hand, some experts argue that there is no viable alternative to the current regime in Iran.
