As the holiday season approaches, thoughts of Christmas shopping may be starting to surface. While Halloween and Bonfire Night are still ahead, many retailers have already opened up their festive delivery slots, allowing customers to secure essential items before December 25.
Major supermarkets like Sainsbury’s, ASDA, and Morrisons have already made these slots available to the public, with Tesco’s opening set for November 4. The slots for this year will be accessible starting at 6 am on November 4 for Delivery Saver customers who are subscribed to regular shopping deliveries.
Non-Delivery Saver customers will gain access to Christmas slots from 6 am on November 11, just a week later. Tesco’s Christmas 2025 collection boasts a wide range of customer favorites and over 260 new products, some of which have been on shelves since September 1.
Breige Donaghy, Tesco’s Director of Product Development & Innovation, emphasized the significance of Christmas for customers, stating, “Christmas is the ultimate moment of the year for so many of our customers, and at Tesco, we’re here to make every bite count! We know how much our customers cherish the festive season, so we’ve added 268 new products to our Christmas range, catering to every taste and budget.”
Among the new offerings, Tesco presents an Alpine-inspired grazing platter featuring various delectable items. There is also a unique ‘Build your own Charcuter-tree’ option, including a selection of premium meats and cheeses.
For those looking to schedule a Tesco Christmas order in November, the deadline is 11:45 pm on December 14. Deliveries will take place between December 20 and 24, or between December 21 and 23 in Northern Ireland.
Specific delivery slots may vary by store, but most will offer December 24 slots. Ms. Donaghy reiterated in her July statement, “Whether you’re planning a grand Christmas Day feast, stocking up on nostalgic treats, or hosting a party, we’ve got you covered with effortless magic and delicious memories this year.”
