Starting next month, Sky Mobile is increasing bills for millions of its customers. The majority of customers will experience a monthly bill increase of £1.50, amounting to an annual rise of £18. However, some individuals may see a higher or lower adjustment in their bills.
Customers can expect to see the new pricing reflected in their bills beginning February 14, 2026. This marks Sky Mobile’s first price adjustment for in-contract customers in over seven years.
If customers are dissatisfied with the price hike and are within the minimum contract period, they have the option to cancel their package without incurring an early termination fee. The price of the Sky Mobile social tariff, designed for those with lower incomes, will remain unchanged.
Sky attributed the price increase to rising wholesale network costs and stated that affected customers will receive notifications starting today regarding the bill adjustments.
A spokesperson from Sky Mobile explained, “To maintain the quality, service, and value our customers expect, the majority of Sky Mobile customers will see a £1.50 addition to their monthly bills starting February. This decision was made after careful consideration, as we have not raised mobile prices mid-contract for more than seven years.”
The adjustment in prices follows O2’s announcement that almost all mobile and SIM-only contract customers will face a £2.50 monthly bill increase from April 2026, up from the initially planned £1.80 rise.
Additionally, Three mobile customers opting for a data plan of 4GB or less starting November 9 will experience a £1.80 monthly increase from April 2026, representing an 80p higher increment compared to the current £1 rise.
Customers with data plans ranging from 4GB to 100GB will witness a monthly price surge of £1.90 from April 2026, while those with over 100GB will face a £2.30 increment. Three broadband users will encounter a £3.50 monthly price hike from April 2026.
For Vodafone mobile customers signing up from November 12, monthly bills will increase by £2.50, or £1.50 for Basics SIM plans. Vodafone broadband subscribers will see a £3.50 monthly price uptick. Existing Vodafone or Three customers will experience their previously agreed-upon price adjustments.
